Project Management & Delivery – BIM Services
1. Purpose
This SOP defines the standardized process for planning, execution, quality control, delivery, and closure of BIM-based projects ranging from 2D drafting to advanced 5D BIM services. It ensures consistency, quality, compliance, and predictable outcomes across all BIM engagements.
2. Scope
This SOP applies to all BIM projects including Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines and covers:
- 2D Drafting
- 3D BIM Modeling
- 4D Scheduling
3. Roles & Responsibilities (Summary)
- Project Manager (PM): Planning, execution, reporting, delivery
- BIM Manager: BIM standards following BEP, technical oversight

4.1 Project Initiation
Objective:
Establish a clear project foundation, contractual understanding, BIM strategy, and stakeholder alignment.

4.2 Planning
Objective:

- Establish reporting, review, and approval cycles

4.3 Model Development – 2D & 3D BIM
Objective:
Develop accurate, compliant, and discipline-specific BIM models as per agreed standards.

- Receive and validate design inputs
- Setup discipline-specific templates
- Develop 2D drawings where required
- Develop 3D BIM models (Arch, Struct, MEP)
- Ensure LOD compliance at each stage
- Maintain model version control

Objective:
Ensure multidisciplinary coordination and eliminate conflicts prior to construction.
